Homebrew Antennas

The following weblinks will take you to some online antenna calculators.

Frequency Wavelength Calculator
The distance between one point to another adjacent point in a wave is known as the wavelength. It is inversely proportional to the frequency which means the wave with higher frequency will have shorter wavelength. This calculator will help you to calculate the different wavelength of antennas based on the frequency.

CUBICAL QUAD ANTENNA CALCULATOR - 1

Here you will find information about wire antennas as well as directional beams.

This page is a JavaScript® enhanced web page that implements the design of an antenna in the VHF, UHF, and Microwave frequency range with High Gain (11.8 to 21.6 dBd) and Long Boom Lengths (2.2 to 39 Wavelengths). Put in the UHF CB frequency you use the most or the input frequency of a UHF CB Repeater.

This page is intended for users that want to experiment with a yagi design but do not need all the rhetoric contained on the main Yagi Design Page.

Gamma Match Construction
This is a great home site with good information on 11m antennas. I found it in a Google search I did on 'gamma match calculator'

This site is dedicated to bringing true information about the different types of antennas you can use, buy and build for Citizen Band Radio and 11 Meter DXing, from concept to construction. Then link opens on the Quad Calculator page. There is also a plan for a 4 element yagi on the site too.
